Wikileaks recently released over 75,000 documents containing controversial reports on the war in Afghanistan, and, according to Assage, 15,000 more documents are slated to be released shortly. UPDATE: Warrant withdrawn.
Meanwhile, in Haiti, an electoral council has decided that Wyclef Jean is ineligible to run for president as he has not been a proper resident of the country for at least five years prior to the election. Jean, whose charitable foundation Yele Haiti has raised millions of dollars to help those affected by January’s devastating earthquake, has been accused of using contributions made to the charity to fund private expenses.
